oops moment....

Did you ever have one of those day where you did something and didn't realize just what you did.  Well mine came today.  I wanted some scrap yarn to make a big ripple afghan but I didn't have enough different colors. Sooooo.... I went on ebay.  I don't do the fancy yarns... I am more than happy with Redheart or caron.  Something like that.  I looked at my goodwills too but they only had a bag of white and creams .. I didn't want that. There were these 5 auction.  Each in a different color.  All from the same seller. So I asked if the combine shipping and they did.  I bid on all 5 and ended up winning 4 of them.  I got them for a very good price and great price for shipping.  The pictures of the auctions just didn't do it justice to what was really there.  The box I got today was HUGE....LOL.  And all I could think was... how am I going to hide all of this...lol.  Plus I stopped at Joanns on the way home and picked up some yarn for a blanket I am going to try and make my Hubby.  So as I sit in the floor laughing, I was rearranging. This is what my yarn stash looks like now...

The purple bucket is where I put must of what just came today.  The full skeins went in the wire cubes.  I think I might have a yarn problem...LOL.

I hope you all have a great day. I will post pics of a baby blanket I am working on soon.

As of today I am.....

a Married woman.  We got married at 9 this morning at the courthouse.  The judge that married us was great and it was just the 2 of us and we had a great time.  We even went out to BobEvans for breakfast...LOL.  It is somewhat of a secret because he did it with out his mom knowing... long story... so I can't tell many people until he tells her but I know I can tell all my fellow hookers and friends here.  I am soo happy and just had to share.

Hugs to all

Crochet BAM CAL - Ravelry

I joined a Crochet -  Block of the Month  - CAL.  It is a great group.  They post 2 - 12 inch squares and a 6 inch square each month. at the end of the year you have enough squares to put together an blanket if you wish.  http://www.ravelry.com/groups/2011-crochet-block-a-month-cal

Here are the two 12 inch squares that I did for this month.

This one is Maggies square by The Crochet Dude.  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/maggies-square

This one is Enough Love to go Around by Penny Davidson.  http://thecreativepenny.blogspot.com/2010/02/enough-love-to-go-around.html

The colors that I am using for my blanket are Pale green, kelly green, and deep violet. I didn't pick them out.  It is the yarn that the kids got me for Christmas so we are going to see how well I can tie them all together.

I hope that you will stop in and check the group out if you like doing things like that.

Have a great week!!
